MLB／太空人隊用選秀狀元換來守護神

太空人隊與費城人隊確定球員交易，太空人隊將用包括「選秀狀元」Mark Appel在內的5名球員，換來「守護神」Ken Giles以及內野手Jonathan Arauz。
太空人隊急需補強救援投手的戰力，日前即傳出將用rett Oberholtzer、Vincent Velasquez、 Derek Fisher以及 Thomas Eshelman等4名球員交換費城人隊Giles的消息，今天整個交易案確定，太空人隊用Mark Appel、rett Oberholtzer、Vincent Velasquez、Thomas Eshelman以及Harold Arauz交換費城人隊的投手Ken Giles以及內野手Jonathan Arauz。
Giles去年才升上大聯盟，本季原是費城人隊第8局的布局投手，7月底「守護神」Jonathna Papelbon被交易到國民隊，Giles扛起救援重任，在17次救援機會，15次救援成功；而且Giles的平均球速達到96.5哩，本季投70局，三振87次，是名三振能力很強的投手，太空人隊明年球季應會讓Giles扛「終結者」的重任。
24歲的Appel，2013年選秀會太空人隊第一輪選中，是這一年的選秀狀元，不過Appel還沒有升上過大聯盟，本季在太空人2A及3A出賽25場，戰績10勝3敗、防禦率4.37。
